May 21, 2018 under the leadership of the pro-rector for academic and scientific work N. Temirbekova. a conference call took place in which the head of the science, strategic planning and international cooperation office Zh. M. Bakirov, 4 th year students of the specialty "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" took part, the meeting discussed the rules of admission and conditions for participation in the mobility program "Abai Vern. "    Within the framework of the Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic on the implementation of the Abai-Vern program, the Government of France offers citizens of Kazakhstan to participate in the Abay Vern scholarship program.     Within the framework of this program, 100 grants are provided, including 90 grants for undergraduates of the second year of study and 10 grants for doctoral students studying in Kazakhstani higher educational institutions.     Priority will be given to graduates who have completed training in Kazakh-French programs or undergraduates and doctoral students of higher education institutions who have partner agreements with French universities.     The term of training for undergraduates will be 10 months (September-June), and the term of training of doctoral students is 3 years, each year for 6 months (September-February).Under the agreement, Kazakhstan's commitment is to provide scholarships (for 1 master student - 800 euros, doctoral student - 1 200 euros).      France's obligations include the provision of free education, the granting of the status of a grantee of the French Government, which exempts from paying a registration fee in public institutions of higher education, affixing to the general system of French social insurance, a free long-term student visa, priority in the allocation of places in student hostels. Also, the French party undertakes to assist in the use of the "clé" system (when the state of France serves as a guarantor in the rental of housing), as well as provide preferential tariffs for participation in cultural programs and events.        The program will activate the new impetus for mobility of young researchers, and it is also possible to gain access to the latest innovations in the field of science, to cooperate with advanced European scientific centers and laboratories with further expansion of scientific ties with francophone countries. The goal of the agreement is to strengthen the Kazakh-French partnership in higher education for the training of highly qualified personnel, the development of an internationalization strategy and two-diploma education.       On the Kazakh side, the agreement was signed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Sagadiyev, from the French side was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Philippe Martine.
